The Unsound Jr Pro is live.

The Unsound Pro, New York’s only ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals) sanctioned tour stop returns for it’s 12th year to Long Beach this September 8-12th. Long regarded as a “surfer’s” competition the event draws top rated competitors from across the globe. With Nike 6.0 sponsoring this years Grade-4 Pro Jr. event, it is the highest ranked event of its kind in the United States with over $30,000 in prize money being distributed among the top placing surfers.

Additionally, top ranked ASP World Tour surfer Carissa Moore will stop in at the Unsound Pro to shoot scenes for the New York based action sports series “The Transit Chapters” which will air on MSG Plus in the fall of 2010.

Sponsors of the 2010 Unsound Pro include Unsound Surf Shop, Nike 6.0, Red Bull, Long Beach Music Battle of the Bands, Skull Candy and The Inn of Long Beach who will be hosting the after party.
